Ms. Moran is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of business experience, and has hands-on expertise in all aspects of starting and running a business. She is the founder and president of a New Media Entertainment company in New York City, ology.com, where she was responsible for day-to-day operations for the company, as well as product direction for all Ology properties. Prior to Ology, she was Senior Director, Product & Partner Management at Yahoo Corp., responsible for developing, launching and integrating communications products across the Yahoo Network. Before Yahoo, Vivian founded and operated a consulting firm, Moran Corp., providing product development, marketing, strategic planning, and business development services for start-ups and large companies that were moving their operations online. Vivian also served as a Vice President of Business Development and Director of Product Management for InfoSeek Corporation and The Walt Disney Company. Before moving to the Internet industry, Vivian was a senior principal with Arthur Andersen & Company’s operational consulting practice. Vivian has her MBA from Harvard Business School.
Claudia Rogoff is an experienced small businesswoman and committed to the education of her two young children. Ms. Rogoff began her career as a stylist working at the center of the NYC fashion industry and has worked with some of the top world-renowned stylists and fashion insiders. Her clientele has ranged from household celebrities to models at fashions shows all over the world including London, Milan, Paris and here in New York City.
Currently, Ms. Rogoff’s passion has turned to her children’s education and thus she has become actively involved in the academic and neighborhood community. Ms. Rogoff served as PTA co-president 2012-2013 at Amistad. During her tenure, Ms. Rogoff was instrumental in bringing programs to the school such as Chess, and Yoga, and continues to pursue programs to bring to the community. Ms. Rogoff co-led this year’s fund-raising and auction for Amistad helping bring in a record fundraising year, with a growth of over 200% from the previous year.
Ms. Rogoff also contributes her time to fundraising for charities including AIDS research and outreach programs for the elderly and the disabled. Look for her yoga donation class coming soon at Mind Body and Soul in Washington Heights! She is also pursuing a Vinyasa yoga instructor certification at “Mind Body and Soul” in Washington Heights .

The Little Red Rocket Program is targeted at K – 5th Grade. Our mission is to help our communities raise children full of wonder in academics and arts, thus improving their overall success. The Little Red Rocket Program contributes to this goal by offering K – 5 children the highest quality after school program to enrich both their minds and bodies. The curriculum will run from 3pm until 5:45pm and is designed to develop true renaissance children in our community. Children that attend the full curricula will benefit the most. The program is designed to balance academics, arts and movement. There will be three packages as follows:
- Ignition: Homework & Tutoring + Science Fridays ($31.25 Week), Pick up at 3:45pm
- Launch – Homework, Tutoring, SF +5 Classes per Week ($87.50 Week), Pick up at 4:45pm
- Blast-Off – Homework, Tutoring, SF+10 Classes per Week ($116.25 Week), Pick up at 5:45pm
Note: In the schedule below, a child participating in the Ignition program only, will arrive at 3pm and be dismissed at 3:45pm. Children that are in the Launch program will attend the 3pm session of Homework, Tutoring and Science, and then participate in the second period (starting at 3:50pm). Students in the Launch program will arrive to the program at 3pm and will be dismissed at 4:45pm. Children participating in the Blast-off Program will arrive at the program at 3pm and be dismissed at 5:45pm. These students will complete their homework/ Tutoring, and Science session. Martial Arts teach children valuable skills that they will use throughout their lives. From teaching self-defense, leadership skills and character traits, including patience, focus, integrity and respect: Skills that all children need to thrive.
Basketball will focus on drills appropriate to each level: dribbling the ball, passing, blocking and scoring. Informal games will be played weekly to train the children on sportsmanship, team building, game rules and overall etiquette.
